Well, we've three Circle-trained mages on the project, myself included. And a scholar from the university at Val Royeaux, not to mention the bard-trained Orlesian linguist, so if we find something, we can almost certainly read it.
[He sighs, lightly.]
There's also the Wardens. They imprisoned Corypheus, once, but they're generally a tight-lipped bunch. There are some letters you may find interesting -- I've indicated in my notes. And there's Warden Larius, who reportedly worked with Hawke to kill him and then inconveniently vanished.
There should be many routes to discovering information, then. If it is something from Tevinter then I will be able to recognise where it is from and where to find more, I am sure.
[ Leaning back, Hanzo frowns just a little. ]
I am not close with many Wardens, so I am not sure what much I could offer. Do we have more information on Larius?
[He rifles through the papers on his desk to retrieve a message, clearly sent by raven.]
This came from Skyold just a few days ago. Not a guarantee, but a lead on where he was last seen. Worth following up, I think.
[He doesn't make it a question, but he holds it out to Hanzo, clearly soliciting input. Involvement with red lyrium smugglers doesn't suggest much good about what's become of the man, but it is something to look into, at least.]
[ Hanzo takes it without pause, taking the papers and beginning to read through them. It's not new for him, being involved in decision making and research, but it has been some time since he has not worked independently. ]
Lyrium smuggling. It should not come as a surprise.
[ He frowns, touching the papers for a moment, in thought, before - ]
Is there anyone who may be capable of finding him? You know the members better than I, as it stands.
I was thinking of asking for volunteers, first. Ideally at least one Warden, but not exclusively Wardens.
[One because it increases the chances Larius might talk to them, other people because while Julius has no particular problem with Wardens, they aren't exactly known for being forthcoming.]
[ Hanzo has no opinions on them one way or the other, at least; they're not something he had ever encountered much. Being a Magister allowed him some things, but interaction with Grey Wardens was not one of them. ]
I think the sooner the better, unless you've any objections. My thought is to suggest two separate operations; one group might try to infiltrate the smugglers, if they think it can be done, while the other might try to intercept their communications. I'm certainly open to other suggestions, though, if you've any.
I have no objections. [ It's not his project, after all; he is just here to assist as far as he's concerned. He's not the leader. ] A group that is more stealthy would be best, then. I am sure there are project members that would be more than happy to take on the mission.
I'll start pursuing it then. If you've other suggestions for avenues to pursue, or methods to pursue them, I welcome the suggestions. I hope our work will be collaborative, as time goes on.

When would you have this investigation start?
